    MUSTANG (Oct. 18) — The Wild West Motorsports Park hosted another first time visitor this weekend. The Nitto Tires Ultra 4 National Championship series pulled into the park on Friday for practice and qualifying during its season ending event.   The drivers found a cross between brutal rock sections as well as high-speed areas and some fast corners. Its a mix that tested all of a driver’s talents as well as their machines. For one driver, Loren Healy from Farmington New Mexico, the day was his time to seal the deal on a perfect season and win the national championship.

      MUSTANG (Oct. 17) — Practice and qualifying made for an action packed Friday at the Wild West Motorsports Park east of Sparks. With the last round of the Nitto Ultra4 National Championship being run Saturday time was of the essence for those drivers looking to either clinch a championship or improve their points position. Practice was done using the long course, which includes a very long, steep climb up a new section of the track. Qualifying was on the short track that omitted the big new hill section.
