    This weekend’s racing will be a little less frantic that it was on Memorial Day Sunday. But there still is a pretty good variety for fans to choose from.   This afternoon there is a special event for youngsters. The AC/DC Bike Camp has demonstration rides at the Double Diamond Athletic Club. The goal is to sign up young riders for their Electric Trials Bike Lessons and it’s open to any one 6 years and older that can ride a bike.   Demonstration rides will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. Two tracks in our region will be in

  • RACING PREVIEW – MAY 7-10

    RACING PREVIEW FOR THIS WEEK BOTH LIVE AND ON TELEVISION This weeks’ racing preview highlights the only two area tracks that in action this weekend. Things are a bit calmer after last week when three regional tracks were in action. To the north the Diamond Mountain Speedway, in Susanville, Calif. hosts another of its points races with the action beginning at 7 p.m. The track is located at the Lassen Fairgrounds.   Closer to home the Fernley 95A Speedway, starting at 6 p.m., is hosting the next round of its regular season with all the car classes is action.
