    RENO, NV (Oct 25) – Racing preview for this weekend has a varied menu even though seasons are winding down. And while tracks are going dark there is some live racing just getting started along with what’s found on TV and streamed on the Internet. In our region two motorcycle events will be in the Winnemucca area although they are about 30 miles apart. The Mason Valley Dirt Squirts will host MRANN’s final round of the year at an event called The Silver State Howl-A-Wheelie.   • RACING PREVIEW – MARCH 19-22

    This week there is a traditional hybrid race featuring a cross between motocross and desert racing. It’s the 4th Annual Sandbox Grand Prix staged at the Fernley Lion’s Motocross Track.   Saturday’s action begins at 12:30 a.m. with a race combining Women, 65cc and 100cc plus Vintage and Bomber bikes. Then the Pee Wees take to the track followed at 2:30 p.m. with a 90-minute team race for the Men, Women and Bombers. The big bikes take to the track Sunday morning with a series of motos beginning at 8 a.m. After those are completed the GP, or team race
