RENO, NV (Sept. 25) — Fall is here and regional short tracks are ending their seasons. Even car meets will start being reduced although there are still many events and motorcycle racing continues. CAR MEETS: • While not exactly car related the annual Street Vibrations Fall Rally begins Thursday and runs through the weekend. Locations are in Reno, Virginia City and the Harley Davidson dealership on Carson City. • Thursday at 8 a.m. when the Iron Mafia meets at Kim’s Donuts. Location is 1328 U.S. 395 North in Gardnerville. • Friday is the season’s last car show at Summit Racing

RENO, NV (Sept. 18) — Fall starts this weekend and while oval tracks are closing down there is still more racing to come in our region. Not to mention all kinds of car meets as well as racing on TV. CAR MEETS: • Once again the Iron Mafia gets the weekend rolling when they meet at 8 a.m. Thursday. Location is Kim’s Donuts at 1328 U.S. 395 North in Gardnerville. • On Friday, starting at 6:00 by the 76th Station it’s the weekly Friday Fernley Meet. CAR MEETS: • The Iron Mafia gets the weekend rolling with their weekly meet that begins ate 8 a.m. Thursday. RENO, NV (Sept.4) — Summer will officially end in a couple of weeks and the oval track season in our region is starting to wind down.
