SPRINT CARS VISIT LOVELOCK SPEEDWAY
LOVELOCK, NV (June 22) — Despite the heat the Lovelock Speedway had two days of racing this weekend. On Saturday, in addition to the two classes present the Sierra Nevada Sprint Car series visited the track. Car counts were a little low as the IMCA Touring series was in Tonopah this weekend. But there were Hobby Stocks and Gen-X to round out the show. After getting things going the sprint cars went out and qualifying. QUINCY SPEEDWAY HOSTS PRO STOCKS
QUINCY, CALIFORNIA (June 15) — This weekend West Coast Pro Stocks made its first visit to Quincy Speedway. The event was the Pearson Family Memorial Race and two of the regular classes were there to support the program. There was a bit of computer problems so another laptop had to be summoned. Once that was done and the fast laps over with it was time for the heat races. COLD SPRINGS, NEVADA (June 2) — Whatever MC hosted the current round of the 2024 MRANN season. The location was north of Reno and the event was named “Whoops, Washes and Whatever.” Since the long course was about 19-miles long Sunday was organized differently than most MRANN classes. The Pros, Experts and Amateur, who lined in rows depending on the class they were racing in had two motos. SUSANVILLE, CALIF. (May 25) — It’s Memorial Day weekend and Diamond Mountain Speedway had a Friday-Saturday show. Great although cool, weather set the stage for two nights of great racing. Since it was Memorial Day weekend the entire field of cars lined up 4-wide on the track before opening ceremonies. STADIUMGP ROCKS RENO RODEO ARENA
RENO NV (MAY 18) — The first StadiumGP rocked the Reno Rodeo Arena this weekend. On Thursday was qualifying followed by a concert, then Friday and Saturday were both race days. There were a variety of classes but the Pros raced for $10,000 on Friday an $10,000 on Saturday. Saturday evening, after the opening ceremonies, things started rolling with the three classes of Futures. These were racers 17 and under. Peyton Maas won in Class 1 while Lucas Evans won Class 2.
