  • NORCAL STARTS SXS SEASON AT FERNLEY

    FERNLEY, NV (MAR. 13) — Norcal Rock Racing began its season with an event presented by California Custom Trailers and Power Sports. The even was for the SxS series and there was a good turn out and great weather. After a pair of heat races and some track maintenance everyone was ready to go. First on track were the youth classes and one group even had a 7-year-old driving.   • RENO CARS & COFFEE GETS MARCH ROLLING

    RENO, NV (March 7) – As usual the first Sunday in a month is when Reno Cars & Coffee has a meet. Mother Nature blessed the even with great weather and a huge group of people and vehicles showed up. And as usual the vehicles ranged from the exotic to almost ordinary.     RENO, NV (March 1) – American Auto Air and Repair has been around a very long time. It’s current owner Tom Rankin grew up with auto repair in his DNA. “I was actually brought up in a shop that my dad owned since I was a little kid,” he said. “I worked in my dad’s shop since I was 7-years-old every summer and every day after school.     RENO, NV (Feb. 15) – All types of racing is starting and it’s time to preview the off-road series. With few exceptions this is the 4-wheel type. Big news last November put a cloud over the sport as Lucas Oil announced it was ending their Off Road Series.     RENO, NV (Feb. 7) – As usual Reno Cars & Coffee got the month rolling with its first weekend car meet. The event was blessed by great weather and a huge turn out. Reno C&C head Lance Freitas said it might be the largest meet they’ve had.   • MOTOMEDX: LOOKING OUT FOR RACERS AND RIDERS

    For Steve Clark it’s a combination of the love of riding and his seeing a need for medics at races and rides.
