SPARKS, NV (NOV. 28) — The month of November ended with the second meet for Sparks Cars & Coffee.  As usual it was close to Buffalo Wild Wings.  As expected many of the more exotic cars have been put away for the winter so the car count was on the low side. However there was still a good mix of cars to see and admire.  One of them is a 1967 Mustang Coupe owned by Dana Vanpool. After doing a lot of work on it he is trying to sell the car.  “It was originally a six cylinder but has

  • DIAMOND MOUNTAIN SPEEDWAY AT RATTLESNAKE RACEWAY

FALLON, NV (Oct. 30) — It appeared that Diamond Mountain Speedway in Susanville, California would not be able to run this year’s Halloween Bash. This was due to the fairgrounds being used as a fire camp for those battling the Dixie Fire. Fortunately the folks at Rattlesnake Raceway offered their track for the event. As a result the Diamond Mountain crew, plus some Rattlesnake regulars helped prepare the track and the two-day event was on.  Before everything got rolling all the racers brought their cars to the front straight.
