RENO, NV (April 19) — Well it appears spring might be here as this weekend we’ll warm up. Great time for car meets, cruises, testing and oval track racing CAR MEETS: • On Sunday the USO Northern Nevada Car Club gets the weekend rolling with a show and shine to benefit the Agape Church School. Location is 903 Taylor Place in Fallon. Meet runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. • Sunday is when the Kernley Klazzic Kruizers have a cruise from Fernley to the Sonic Burger place in Fallon. It’s the annual Kruizer Al’s Run and goes from 11

RENO, NV (April 12) — Well it seems as though spring might be here, hope so anyway. Even if it isn’t, we have a weekend full of racing and things ahead of us. CAR MEETS: • Saturday gets rolling at 9 a.m. when Fallon Cars N’ Coffee has a meet. Location is the Alley Bar at 1555 South Taylor Street. • Sunday, starting at 10 a.m. by the Human Bean Coffee Stand, located by Moana and Keitzke Lanes there is another meet. It’s Reno Cars & Coffee and they usually is a pretty good mix of cars. RACING (4-WHEEL): •

RENO, NV (April 5) — Well here it is, Easter weekend and there is plenty of racing going.  We have races in our region as well as some on TV. CAR MEETS: • Only one on tap for this weekend as, starting at 10 a.m. Sparks Cars & Coffee is meeting close to the Starbucks off Disc Drive. Should be great weather so hope they get a good car count. • On Saturday there is the 2nd Annual Brett G Palmer Freedom Run. It’s an off-road poker run and is sponsored by two groups, should be fun for those that

RENO, NV (March 29) — Well March, which came in as a lion, is trying to leave as one. But this weekend we get a break as it is full of various events not to mention the fare on TV. CAR MEETS: • Things get rolling with the annual Off-Road & Motorsports Expo that is part of the Lockett show at the Convention Center. It started Wednesday and runs through Sunday. Great way to see off-road groups and some racing groups as well. • Sunday is a busy day for two groups. -Over by the Kietzke Starbucks, starting at 10

RENO, NV (March 22) — Well March came in as a lion and looks like it’ll go out with a roar. However green flags are about to start waving as well as starting gates and banners dropping. Yes, spring not only brings flowers but racing as well. CAR MEETS: • Fallon Cars N’ Coffee gets the weekend rolling with a Saturday meet. Times are 9 to noon and the location is The Alley Bar. • Sparks Cars & Coffee will host it second meet of the month at the Starbucks off Disc Drive in Sparks. These meets start at 10 a.m.,

RENO, NV  (March 15) — Finally a break in the weather, what a great time for the area motocross season to start. There are also some weather related changes in the schedules for several oval tracks. CAR MEETS: • This Sunday, from 10 a.m. until noon, Reno Cars & Coffee is having its second meet of the month. If the weather holds should be a good turn out and the location is the Human Bean coffee stand by the corner of Keitzke and Moana Lanes. Announcement: This Saturday we go into Daylight Savings Time. So be sure to set your clocks ahead one hour that evening, especially if you’re racing on Sunday.
