  • MRANN AWARDS CEREMONY AND BANQUET

    RENO (Jan. 28) — The desert racers that compete in the MRANN series assembled for their yearly banquet and awards ceremony this weekend. For many it was a time to reflect on the season past, maybe get a trophy, a new number and mentally start preparing for the 2023 season that begins in February. This would be the final time that Ricky Dahlberg was acting as MRANN’s president. After this night the new board takes over. “This last season went really well, we had very stron numbers in ’21 and we actually exceeded that in’22 to the numbers went up,”

    RENO, NV (Jan. 25) — We’re about to head into February and this is actually a pretty big race weekend. Soon green flags will fly in our region however for now one needs to travel to see them live although TV and the Internet has a bunch.   • BATTLE BORN MX AWARDS BANQUET

    RENO, NV (Jan. 22) — On Saturday those that race with Battle Mountain MX, or BBMX as it’s known assembled at Boomtown. The occasion was the annual awards ceremony and banquet. As usually there was a large amount of trophies to hand out. There were also grand prizes that were raffled off as well as a bunch of goodies that were also part of the raffles.     RENO, NV (Jan. 18) — Looks like we’ll have good weather for this weekend. So there is a car meet plus racing on the Internet and TV. Spring is getting closer, which means more racing is coming.     RENO, NV (Jan. 7, 2023) — With a welcome break in the weather the Nevada Jeep Club hosted its 2nd Annual Wine, Women and Jeeps meet. The location was the Whispering Vine Wine located in south Reno. At first only a couple of parking places were available but as things progressed more and more opened up and Jeep Club members began to back into them.     RENO, NV (Jan 1) — While a New Year’s storm made traveling a challenge for one new club it was the doctor ordered. The newly formed Reno Jeeps and Coffee had its first meeting by the Human Bean Coffee Stand located at the corner of Longley and South McCarran. For these folks snow and ice was no problem.
