RENO, NV (May 31) — Another overflowing buffet of car meets, shows, regional racing was well as top line national and international racing on TV. CAR & MOTORCYCLE MEETS: • Weekend gets rolling when Thursday Night Cruisers get going. Start time is 5:30 p.m. but sadly the women writing the article did not mention the gathering point however it will be in Carson City. • Friday is when Street Vibrations Spring Rally begins. Runs through the weekend. Great time for Harley, Indian and other bikers. • Sunday begins at 10 a.m. with three car meets. -The Iron Mafia is hosting

RENO, NV (May 24) — This is probably the biggest racing weekend of the year. In addition there is racing as well as car meets in our region. The buffet table is overflowing and Mother Nature is going to bless us with good weather. CAR MEETS: • The weekend gets rolling as the first of 10 Thursday Cruznites gets going. It’s easy to get to as one goes north on 395 then turns west on Highway 70. The location is the Chilcoot Frosty & Goodwins General Store. There will be trophies and a nice way to start this long weekend.

RENO, NV (MAY 17) — Going to be a very warm weekend, one full of car meets, a cruise to Lake Tahoe as well as two oval tracks in action and a motocross. Not to be outdone, there are several events on TV as well as a major cancellation. CAR MEETS: • The biggest meet in this area is Hot August Nights Spring Fever Revival. RENO, NV (May 3) — It appears spring has really arrived, knock on wood. There are a bunch of events this weekend, both in our region as well as bunch on TV. CAR MEETS: • 775 Offroad and Recovery is having a 4X4 Show N’ Shine at Fuji Park in Carson City on Saturday. Show opens at 10 a.m. and it’s a family event with spectators getting in for free. • Reno Cars & Coffee gets the month started with a meet by the Keitzke Starbucks. RENO, NV (April 26) — Another spring weekend ahead with a major event in this region plus one more oval track opening it season. There is also a bunch of racing on TV and the Internet. CAR MEETS: • Nevada Jeep Club is teaming up with Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful to help clean up a couple of areas this Saturday. They need folks with 4X4 vehicles and it’s an 8 a.m. start time. Great time for car meets, cruises, testing and oval track racing CAR MEETS: • On Sunday the USO Northern Nevada Car Club gets the weekend rolling with a show and shine to benefit the Agape Church School. Location is 903 Taylor Place in Fallon. Meet runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. • Sunday is when the Kernley Klazzic Kruizers have a cruise from Fernley to the Sonic Burger place in Fallon. RENO, NV (April 12) — Well it seems as though spring might be here, hope so anyway. Even if it isn’t, we have a weekend full of racing and things ahead of us. CAR MEETS: • Saturday gets rolling at 9 a.m. when Fallon Cars N’ Coffee has a meet. Location is the Alley Bar at 1555 South Taylor Street. • Sunday, starting at 10 a.m. by the Human Bean Coffee Stand, located by Moana and Keitzke Lanes there is another meet. RENO, NV (April 5) — Well here it is, Easter weekend and there is plenty of racing going.  We have races in our region as well as some on TV. RENO, NV (March 29) — Well March, which came in as a lion, is trying to leave as one. But this weekend we get a break as it is full of various events not to mention the fare on TV. CAR MEETS: • Things get rolling with the annual Off-Road & Motorsports Expo that is part of the Lockett show at the Convention Center. It started Wednesday and runs through Sunday. RENO, NV (March 22) — Well March came in as a lion and looks like it’ll go out with a roar. However green flags are about to start waving as well as starting gates and banners dropping. RENO, NV  (March 15) — Finally a break in the weather, what a great time for the area motocross season to start. There are also some weather related changes in the schedules for several oval tracks.
