This week while there isn’t anything in our region TV has several live events including an international one that is in Miami for the first time. Racing Preview this week goes over motocross dates that have been changed or canceled in our region. But there is some racing out of the area both live and on TV. Another week into the New Year and there is more racing to see. Racing Preview this week has a regional event plus a bunch more on TV. The New Year is progressing and racing is starting to heat up again. Locally Livfast Exit 28 might not be having practice sessions this weekend. Early in the week it appeared to be at lake in some sections so those wanting to go might check their Face Book page. There will be motocross racing in Northern California however. The MotoPro Graphics Triple Crown is running the third leg of the series this weekend.

While there are a bunch of reruns racing is finally getting going.   Racing preview for this week still has a bunch in the “Rerun Zone,” but things are beginning to change with the start of racing. Locally Livfast Exit 28 will be open for practice, weather permitting, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. While it’s still pretty slim this week, next week there will be more. Over in TV land there are plenty of reruns plus a very anticipated start to a new season. Thursday begins at 3 p.m. as Fox Sports 1 airs a Supercross

One more week in the “rerun zone,” but fear not racing begins this weekend. Racing Preview for this week is again thin but that’s going to change this weekend. With New Year comes racing as the thunder returns. Locally Livfast Exit 28 Motocross track will probably be having practice sessions from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. When this was written there was no confirmation so one needs to check first. For those racing in the Bishop Winter Series there are practice sessions on Saturday. Usually at 8 a.m. is when the gates open followed by track time.

Another slow week for race fans but fear not the action will begin shortly. Even in November, there is still racing to watch and enjoy. Racing preview for this week has things slowing down but there is still some going on. There’s action in this region, in the south, over in California as well a nationally and internationally. After being flooded out last week Livfast Exit 28 Motocross track has dried out so there will be practice sessions from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. As fall proceeds series are ending then winter racing will begin. Racing Preview for this week is slimmer as series are heading toward their final events where the championships will be decided. Racing Preview for this week is another mixed bag of many types of racing including three races in our area that could be affected by the incoming weather. The big race will be close to home at Desert Park Raceway. The Northern Nevada Kart Club is hosting fifth round in the KPX Karting Championship. Drivers from California are expected and practice sessions will run all through Saturday with Sunday’s racing starting around 9 a.m. For those attending the KPX event, Desert Park Raceway is a quarter mile past where the pavement ends for Lemmon Drive.
