RENO, NV (March 11) – Racing has returned to our region as well as a bunch of events to watch on TV. There are also practice sessions and the start of a series on the Norcal motocross tracks. CAR MEETS: • Reno Cars and Coffee has moved to a new location for this weekend’s meet. On Sunday, starting at 10 a.m. they will meet at Del Rio Pub and Grill located at 6148 Mae Anne Avenue. RENO, NV (Jan. 22) – This week’s Racing Preview has great news for the motocross crowd. Yes we are emerging from the Re-Run Zone and into the daylight of racing seasons beginning. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:  • This weekend 95 Motor Sports Complex, the former 95A Speedway, is opening it’s new motocross track they’ve been working on for the past few months. For both Saturday and Sunday riding will be from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. with registration beginning at 7 a.m. each day. CAR MEETS: • Since it’s the first weekend of the month Reno Cars and Coffee will have its first meet of the year at the Kietzke Lane Starbucks. Things get rolling at 10 a.m. Sunday and with good weather should be a great turnout again. Right at New Year’s Eve Lance Freitas posted the group now has 5,000 members.
