RENO, NV (July 1) – Independence Day weekend and Racing Preview highlights cruises, car meets and racing along with fireworks. Going to be a busy time for race fans. CAR MEETS & CRUISES: • As usual the weekend gets rolling Friday, from 7 to 9 p.m. with the Fernley Quarantine Main Street Cruise. Meet at the Wiigwam then cruise goes from the stoplight to the roundabout and back. • On July 4th, Saturday there is a cruise in Virginia City. The assembly point is the 4th Ward School on the south side of town and from noon until 1 p.m.

RENO, NV (June 24) – Racing Preview highlights a busy weekend full of cruises, car meets and racing in our region. Summer has arrived and it’s time to get out and enjoy the show. RENO, NV (June 17) – Racing Preview has cruises, car meets and an annual car show. In addition there is only only race in Northern Nevada but some to watch on TV. CAR MEETS: • The weekend begins Friday when the annual Yerington’s Main Street Car Show starts its two-day run. Cars will be on display from 7 until 4 p.m. both days. • Also on Friday is the Fernley Quarantine Main Street Cruise. RENO, NV (June 10) – Racing Preview for this weekend has more events plus car meets. As the weather warms up and the lock down eases there is more to do and see. CAR MEETS: • Once again the Friday cruise in Fernley that begins at 7 p.m. by the Wigwam. The route goes east, circles the round about and returns. I’m told people line the streets to see this. RENO, NV (April 29) — This weekend’s Racing Preview has some new developments, a great cruise as well as other racing news and programs to watch. The month of May just might bring us live racing once again. CAR MEETS:  • Reno Cars & Coffee will have it’s first of the month meet at the Keitzke Starbucks. As usual the meet time is 10 a.m. and people are asked to either stay in their cars or remember social distancing. RENO, NV (April 15) – Once again racing is in hiatus but there are still things to watch and the motocross crowd can get in practice sessions. RENO, NV (April 8) – Racing Preview this weekend is going to be a bit empty due to the Easter holiday. However there was a special event Wednesday. Jake Ewing was turning 10 and his family wanted to do something special for him. He suffers from non-verbal autism so can’t speak but sure showed how excited he was. Lance Freitas, who heads Reno Cars & Coffee, saw his mother’s plea on Face Book and decided to do something about so organized a convoy that traveled from Reno to Dayton.
