RENO, NV (May 5) – This week’s Racing Preview has a bunch of car meets, cruises and one that is special for the ladies. While the racing is slim there is one in our region plus motocross practice sessions.   CAR MEETS & CRUISES: •  On Friday Summit Racing at 960 East Glendale in Sparks is bringing back the Cruise Nights. Last year things got going at 5 p.m. with many cars cruising in and put on display.   • Fernley/Fallon Cars & Coffee, starting at 6 p.m. will have a meet at the Fernley 76th station on Main Street.

RENO, NV (April 28) – Racing Preview this time is full of events, from a special project, car meets as well as on track racing. The TV will also be full of various events to watch.   SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: • Reno Area Dirt Riders (RAD) is combining forces with the Hills Angels and Desert Pigs for a special project. RENO, NV (April21) – This weekend’s racing preview has more events including two area tracks that are starting their seasons. RENO, NV (March 31) — Racing Preview for this Easter week is light as most major series are taking it off. Still there are car meets, racing in this region plus some on TV as things take a short breather before getting rolling again. CAR MEETS AND CRUISES: • Once again the weekend gets rolling on Friday evening with the Fernley Main Street Cruise. It runs from 7 until 9 p.m. with the Wigwam being the meeting point. RENO, NV (Feb. 1 7) – While it hasn’t been a full week of racing there is plenty this weekend. Racing Preview will highlight most of them. CAR MEETS: • There is an unusual meet Saturday starting at noon on Saturday.  It’s Mud Fest Spring and happens at the Chickadee Pits and there will be tug of wars, music as well as mud drags. RENO, NV (Feb.3) – Racing Preview this week will be a bit shorter as I’m focused on racing and not on the Re-Run Zone. Yes it’s time for green flags to start waving and the 2021 season to get started. ANNOUNCEMENTS: • MotoMedX is a group founded by Reno Fire Department Captain Steve Clark. His goal is to get a group of trained volunteers that will help provide safety at motocycle races and rides.
