VIRGINIA CITY, NV (June 27_ – For the past six years the annual Women With Wheelz car show has been held in Reno. This year however it moved to the Comstock thanks to the support from Virginia City and the Silverland Inn and Suites. RENO, NV (May – This week begins with Memorial Day but racing and other events continue today and to the weekend. As a result this article will be abbreviated. This weekend Battle Born Motorsports had a drifting and grip event at 95 Speedway. That’s the road course behind the 95 Motor Sports Complex oval. NEW MOTOCROSS TRACK IN FERNLEY
FERNLEY, NV (Feb. 29) – After 95A Speedway was sold late last year part of the property is now home to a new motocross track. It’s one of the first items the new owners are working on and the facility has a new name; 95 Motor Sports Complex. RAD CLEAN UP DAY A SUCCESS
RENO, NV (Feb. 22) – RAD or Reno Area Dirt Riders is a club hosting group rides, representing dirt riders when land issues are discussed as well as improving the riding experience in our region. Over the years many have noticed all the junk and abandoned vehicles discarded around trails and roads in this area. These create hazards for those riding in the same area. So this weekend, thanks to a grant, the club plus others participated in the first clean up day. The assembly area was on the dirt extension to Kiowa Way on the east side of Peavine.

BIG CHANGES FOR FERNLEY TRACK
FERNLEY, NV (Jan. 21) – Big changes are coming for what was known as Fernley 95A Speedway. One change is a new name, 95 Motor Sports Complex, another are new owners. Last year Sam Marson and partner Daniel Blair took over the track. Last week there was a meeting originally for volunteers but it morphed into a much larger gathering.
