    RENO, NV (March 2) — Now that March is here racing is heating up and is building in Northern Nevada. Soon tracks will be opening and across the country national series are going.  CAR MEETS: • Today, Thursday at 7:30 p.m. the Reno Corvettes have their monthly meeting at the Bonanza Casino on North Virginia Street.     RENO, NV (Feb. 26) — Well February is almost over with and racing is rolling both in our region as well as nationally. A sure sign spring isn’t far away.  CAR MEETS: • There will be a pair of them on Sunday. First is Sparks Cars & Coffee, which begins at 10 a.m. by Buffalo Wild Wings.     RENO, NV (Feb. 17) — Now that the Super Bowl is over racing is really taking off.   • RACERS HELP ANOTHER RACER & RENO CARS & COFFEE

    CARSON CITY, NV (1-1-22) — Local racers spent New Year’s Day at the Carson Raceway, an indoor track for electric go-karts.   • JEEP PARADE OF LIGHTS & CARS FOR TOTS

    RENO, NV (DEC. 19) — Two very different events this weekend. Saturday found the Nevada Jeep Club staging a Parade of Lights and convoy through downtown Carson City. Sunday is when Reno Cars & Coffee had the third annual Cars & Toys at Muscle Motors.  Things got rolling Saturday evening in front of Carson City Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram.   • TOY DRIVE WEEKEND IN NORTHERN NEVADA

    RENO, NV (Dec. 5) — This weekend cars groups plus motorcycle clubs and businesses were busy rounding up toys for disadvantaged children. It was a weekend to help others in need.  Saturday began when Reno Area Dirt Riders (RAD) and Big Valley Honda teamed up for a combined event. RAD was helping people register their motorcycles and UTVs so the paperwork and fees would be in order.     SPARKS, NV (NOV. 28) — The month of November ended with the second meet for Sparks Cars & Coffee.  As usual it was close to Buffalo Wild Wings.  As expected many of the more exotic cars have been put away for the winter so the car count was on the low side.   • FERNLEY TRACKS REBIRTH

    FERNLEY, NV  (Oct. 16) — Well fall might be here and winter not too far away but at 95A Motorsports Complex things are humming along. In fact this weekend the revamped motocross track was open for practice on Saturday and Sunday.  Over the next few months and into next year both the motocross track and oval track are going through a rebirth.     SPARKS, NV (May9) – Sparks Cars & Coffee held its first meet of the month. As usual the location was by Buffalo Wild Wings and there were the usual variety of exotic, not so rare and restored cars and trucks   Great weather helped highlight the day as there was a good turnout of many types of cars and trucks.  Among all the cars was a exotic classic.
