  • CAR MEET TRIPLE HEADER

    RENO, NV (Mar. 16) — Half way through March and it’s more like a lion out there with the wind. Despite this there was a car, a Jeep as well as a cruise in this Sunday. • Things got going when Reno Jeeps & Coffee met by the Human Bean Coffee Stand located at the corner of Longley Lane and South McCarran.   • SPARKS CARS & COFFEE FIRST MEET IN MARCH

    SPARKS, NV (March 9) — Great weather set the stage for the month’s first meet with Sparks Cars & Coffee. As usual there were a variety of cars, imports, domestics as well as exotics. There was a nice Corvette row with various models on display including front and mid-engine models. Not far away was a 1964 Chevy Corvair whose original owner still has it.   • RENO CARS & COFFEE PLUS OTHER MEETS

    RENO, NV (March 2) — March has started and three groups started the month off this weekend. Fortunately the weather cooperated. While the turnout for Reno Cars & Coffee was less than usual there were a good amount of cars. As usual there was a line of imports. Close to the street three vintage Ford 4X4’s were parked together. They also had a crowd of people around them. Like many cars there were several sporting spoilers that also had people checking them out.     RENO, NV (Feb. 23) — Sparks Cars & Coffee held its end of the month meet this Sunday. Despite the gray clouds there was a pretty good turn out. As usual at these meets there were contrasts between models of vehicles. One was this El Camino parked next to a Pickup.     RENO, NV (Feb. 16) – It’s been a crazy day. Was unable to attend the season opening race for MRANN but did attend the Reno Cars & Coffee meet. To complicate things Spectrum had a major outage in my area around 9 a.m. so we lost the Internet. As of around 4 p.m. it was still down but finally came back up around 5 p.m. Sunday, starting at 10 a.m., Reno Cars & Coffee had its second meet of the month.   • FRIGID RENO CARS & COFFEE

    RENO, NV (Sun. 19) — Despite the cold morning the turn out was great At these meets there is something for almost everyone, including the kids. Different eras are also represented as well. Here is wonderful restoration of a 1941 Chevy Pick up parked behind a newer Corvette. Not far away this Blue Honda was showing the motor its owner spruced up. Then there was the BMW parked by a Porsche with a vintage El Camino at the end of the row. At Cars & Coffee meets variety in all around you. There was also the beautiful Honda Acura NSX.

  • SPARKS CARS & COFFEE – LAST MEET THIS MONTH

    SPARKS, NV (Dec. 22) – Three days before Christmas Sparks Cars & Coffee held its final meet of the month and of the year. Next time they meet it will be the second weekend in January 2025. Unfortunately, due to the weather and the upcoming holiday, the turnout was sparse but there was a decent variety of cars. At one end of a row were two exotic and high performance cars.     RENO, NV (Dec. 1) — As we wave good-by to November and hello to December, Reno Cars & Coffee got the month started. The cool temperatures kept the car count on the low side but there were still a good amount that attended. Cars & Coffee meets always have a variety of cars and trucks.     SPARKS, NV (Nov. 23) — Sparks Cars & Coffee timed it perfectly, as the meet was between two storm surges. Even though the cool weather might have reduced the car count there were more than enough on hand. As usual there were a variety of cars plus some trucks.     RENO, NV (Nov. 3) — Light weekend due to no racing in this region but there were some meets on both days. Still recovering from last week’s surgery but getting stronger every day and looking forward to reporting racing again. • On Saturday the Reno EVO Club met in the parking lot by the Keitzke Starbucks.
