A week before Thanksgiving and there is still more racing.
Racing preview for this weekend has the final race in our area plus events not too far away in California. Nationally there is a major series ending its year while Internationally other series are continuing and there is a first time event overseas as well.
Racing is a go for this weekend at Livfast Exit 28 Motocross track. The dirt should be epic for round 5 of the 775 Fall MX Classic series.
Locally, despite being flooded out two weeks ago the final round of this year’s 775 Fall MX Classic will be run at Livfast Exit 28. Practice on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and the first moto should start at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
Those heading to Bishop there will be a practice session at the Tri County Fairgrounds starting at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
Prairie City will host the final Trials event of this year on Saturday and Sunday.
Over at Prairie City the final Trials event of the year is going to be run. The action should start around 11 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
And we here wish to give a shout out and best wishes for the drivers and riders from this area competing in the Baja 1000. Good luck everyone.
And there is a special event happening internationally with a Reno tie in. The first ever IF1 Air Race will be held at a military base in Thailand on Saturday and Sunday.

Unfortunately I don’t think it will be streamed.
Over in TV land things begin Thursday on MAVTV at noon with the Dirty 30 followed by the Speed Sport show.
CBS Sports, at 5 p.m. will have a DTM (German Touring Car) Year in Review then at 11:30 p.m. MAVTV comes back with the World Rally from Australia.
This is championship weekend for NASCAR as its top series race to determine their champions. The site is the Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Things begin at 5:30 a.m. with a series of practice and qualifying session that will be split between Fox Sports 1 and NBC Sports.
Then 5 p.m. Fox Sports 1 airs the Camping World Truck season ending race. Johnny Sauter is the number one seed going into the event but he’ll have to best three other drivers to claim the championship.
Saturday starts at 5 a.m. as Fox Sports 1 has the FIA world Endurance race from Bahrain. Then at 11:30 a.m. www.fanchoice.tv has the Myrtle Beach 400 featuring the late models and modifieds.
At 12:30 a.m. the Xfinity series starts its final race of the year on NBC Sports. Elliott Sadler is the number one seed and once again who ever finishes first among the final four will be crowned the series champion.
At 6 p.m. MAVTV will air the power section of the World Rally from Australia.
Sunday starts at 10:30 a.m. as CBS Sports has the Australian V8 Supercars from New Zealand followed by stadium Supertrucks.
But the big race of the weekend starts at 11:30 on NBC or NBC Sports as NASCAR’s Sprint Cup series has its final race of the year. Four drivers, including Las Vegas native Kyle Busch are in the running and who ever finishes ahead of the others will be crowned the champion.
