Even in November, there is still racing to watch and enjoy.
Racing preview for this week has things slowing down but there is still some going on. There’s action in this region, in the south, over in California as well a nationally and internationally.
After being flooded out last week Livfast Exit 28 Motocross track has dried out so there will be practice sessions from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
That flooded out event is now scheduled for next weekend so all the rounds in the 775 Fall MX Classic will be run.
Some local motocross riders will be going over the hill to race in the second round of the MotoPro Graphics Triple Crown.

The event is outside of Dixon, California at the Argyll track. Friday practice is from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. then during the weekend there is a practice at 8 a.m. with racing starting at 9:15 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
To the east MRANN ends its season with the Stars and Bars Hare Scramble. The event is put on by the Mason Valley Dirt Squirts and is located north of Winnemucca.

As usual the Pee Wees start the weekend Saturday at 9 a.m. followed by the Minis/Women/Vintage and Bomber bikes and the day ends with the Team Race starting at 1 p.m.
On Sunday the Big Bikes get their turn on a 45-mile long course. Start time is 10 a.m. and a rider must complete one full lap to be qualified as a finisher.
This event determines the overall points championship and right now Dan Capparelli and Dennis Belingheri are tied at 174 each. One of them will be the champion by Sunday afternoon.
To the south on the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and 19th annual Duel in the Desert for the IMCA racers will be run.

The event actually began today, Wednesday, and runs through the 12th with drivers from all over coming to compete.
Not much on the Internet this weekend although www.fancshoice.tv has a lot of videos from other races that can be watched.
Thursday is pretty slim on TV. NBC Sports has Mecum Auto Auctions beginning at 10 a.m. and running for a few hours.
Then at 12:30 p.m. MAVTV has Super Cup Stock Cars at Jennerstown Speedway followed at 4 p.m. by Speed Sport 2016.
This week all top three NASCAR series are at Phoenix. Those races determine which drivers have a shot at their respective series championships when they get to Homestead.
Friday starts on Fox Sports 2 then at 9:30 a.m. NBC Sports begins practice session. Finally at 7 p.m. Fox Sports 1 has the Camping World Truck race.
The Formula E series gets Saturday rolling at 7 a.m. on Fox Sports 1 with a race from Marrakesh followed at noon when NBC Sports has practice and Xfinity qualifying.
Then at 4:30 p.m. NBC Sports airs the Xfinity race.
Formula 1 is in Brazil this weekend and the championship might be decided then.

Right now Jimmy Johnson and Carl Edwards are the only two seeded into the final four that race for the championship. Defending champion Kyle Busch is fourth in the standings but when the checkered flag waves the final four will be decided.
Then at 1 p.m. the NHRA hosts its season ending event in Pomona, California. All the professional championships will be confirmed by the end of Sunday.
Ron Capps lights them up. This weekend he’ll be going for the Funny Car championship in Pomona.

CBS Sports again has a varied menu for Sunday with very different events to watch and enjoy.
First, at 10 a.m. they show the Formula Drift Insider show followed at 1 p.m. by Real Road Racing Motorcycles, then at 2 with the Australian V-8 Supercars. They follow this at 3 p.m. with the World of Outlaws then at 4 p.m. with Mystik Terracross event and at 5 p.m. with a Lucas Oil Off Road event.
That’s it for this November weekend. If possible be sure to get out and attend a race as there is nothing like it for the sound, color, speed and excitement.
