Racing preview for this week is a bit slim but still has some things to watch.
Now is the annual lull in motorsports. But even in December there are things to give a fan their racing fix.
Locally on Friday, Carson Motor Sports (CMS) is having their annual open house on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Santa will be there for photos as well as specials for that perfect gift for any racer.

Livfast Exit 28 Motocross track will again host practice sessions from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Over in TV land the networks are airing repeats of races that have happened this year.
On Thursday MAV TV has Dirty 30 at noon followed at 12:30 p.m. by Madera Late Models and, at 1 p.m., Speed Sport with a program on Daytona Flat Track racing.
Then at 4 p.m. CBS Sports will air a show about a Lamborghini tour.
Saturday starts at 8 a.m. on CBS Sports as the network airs another Australian V8 Supercar race.

Over on MAVTV at 3:30 p.m. On the Edge shows AMRA Mud racing followed at 4 p.m. by the Lucas Oil ASCS sprint cars.

Sunday is a busy day and at 3 p.m. MAVTV airs a drag boat event. At that same time CBS Sports airs a World of Outlaws event followed by a Lucas Oil Off Road race.

At 4 p.m. NBC Sports airs the broadcast from this year’s Mint 400 off road race.
Over on the Internet www.fanschoice.tv, on Friday at 2 p.m., airs the NASCAR Whelen All-American Awards ceremony.
This weekend it will also show an oval track race as well as two days of coverage from a Snocross National event. Be sure to check the times for when these are broadcast live.
