• Top Gun Raceway put out an announcement about some changes to its format for this season. Well after some discussion things have been changed back for some classes. If on wants to drag race this season they should check the track’s website at, www.topgunraceway.com.

• MotoMedx is recruiting volunteers to help offer safety and medical training that will be used at off-road events such as races, rides and other activities. This organization was created by Steve Clark, who took over the Medical team at MRANN events.

He will also have people at motocross races at Fernley as well as RAD’s registration and ride day in March. It’s a great way for men and women to help insure that help is present at any off-road event.

For further information please check the website at www.motomedx343.com or their Face Book Page.

RACING (MOTOCROSS):

• MMX Racing usually has practice from 9 until 2 p.m. Saturday then from 9 until 3 p.m. Sunday. However with the storms coming in it would be best to call before packing up and heading to the track. The phone number is 530-419-5200.

• This Saturday starts the annual King of the Hammers event. To say it’s an extreme motorsports event would be a huge understatement. In fact there will be from 50,000 to 60,000 people camped for the week in Johnson Valley, located not far from Twenty Nine Palms, California.
