MUSCLE MOTORS TEAMS WITH RENO CARS & COFFEE

RENO, NV (Dec. 15) – This Sunday Muscle Motors teamed up with Reno Cars & Coffee. Their goal was collecting toys for the Salvation Army as well as showing off cars.

Muscle Motors Sales Manager Travis May stands by some of the toys that will be donated to the Salvation Army.

Asked about the meet Travis May, Sales Manger said, “We wanted to give back to the less fortunate. So we’re all thankful for the toys we have so why not give some back to the kids that need some toys. It’s all benefiting the Salvation Army, everything.”

This meet for Reno Cars and Coffee is usually at another location. However this time May and Lance Freitas worked to combine forces and they were joined by some members of Carson Cars and Coffee.

“He’s part of our Face Book, Market Place, social communities and things like that so we asked him. Reno Cars and Coffee helped us out, Carson Cars and Coffee helped us out, Starbucks donated coffee, Doughboy Donuts South Meadows donated 10 dozen donuts. Everyone came out, it’s a really good turnout and I’m really thankful everyone showed up.”

Muscle Motors is located at 9501 South Virginia and their phone number is 775-204-8269. The store’s website is www.musclemotorsreno.com.

As usual at a Cars and Coffee meet cars run from exotic to almost ordinary.

As usual for a Cars and Coffee meet there is a variety of cars. They run from the exotic to the kind of ordinary while many are modified for more power.

There were at least two drifting cars present and Richard Plascencia is the owner of one of them.

Richard Plascncia stands by his Nissan he’s converted into a drift car.

“I believe it’s a ’93 Nissan hatch back with a 5.0 motor swap,” he said. “Drifting is the main purpose of the car, got a GK Tech roll center correction for some angle and I think it’s got a T5 transmission in there and welded differential. It’s pretty good but no interior.

The car is equipped with a racing seat and 5-point harness as well as a roll cage. He still has some work to do on the car but Plascencia hopes his next drifting event will be at the Reno Fernley track.

There was a competition for best looking car and Thomas Krvejzfeldt was busy polishing his Toyota that’s set up for drifting.
