RACING (LOCAL):
• Last race in this area happens this weekend as Battle Born MX ends its 2019 season at the Fern, or the Fernley/Wadsworth Motocross Track located just west of the Veteran’s Cemetery. Practice is from 9 until 2 Saturday and on Sunday the aim is 9 a.m. for the first race as the sun does down earlier now.
• On Saturday starting 6 p.m. Rattlesnake Raceway holds its annual awards banquet. This year its at a new venue, the multi-purpose building at the Churchill County Fairgrounds.
• Apologies to the Northern Nevada Kart Club as their banquet date slipped my mind. However they will meet Saturday evening for their annual awards celebration but this time its up at Tahoe.
• Over in Northern California there are two motocross races this weekend. Over at Oatfield Raceway in the Bay Area will be the second round of this year’s MotoPro Graphics Triple Crown.
+ MMX in Marysville, Calif. is hosting an AHRMA National round. Saturday is the Northwest RegionalVintage and Post Vintage racers while on Sunday it’s the National Vintage MX.
While that is going on they will have practice sessions from 9 until 2 p.m. Saturday on the Sand and Kids track. Then Sunday’s event is on the Vintage track.
+ Unfortunately REP Racing MX did not have an update by 8 p.m. Wednesday so if one in interested on going over the hill for a practice session at either E Street, River Front of Prairie City best advice is to call the hotline. That number is 1-775-265-7223.

That’s it for this now. Want to wish everyone a safe weekend and on Monday try and attend a Veteran’s Day event to help honor those that have served our country.
