RENO, NV (March 26) – Racing Preview for this week has a huge event for NASCAR fans as well regional news and a car meet. Hopefully the weather will improve here in Northern Nevada
CAR MEETS:
- It’s the first weekend of the month and that means Reno Cars and Cofee will be meeting Sunday at the Kietzke Starbucks. The meet runs from 10 a.m. until noon and is a great way to connect with car people.
REGIONAL RACING:
- Although we’re getting close racing has a week to go before things get rolling in this area. Racing Preview did get an update from Lovelock Speedway.
Due to the recent racing they’ve not had a chance to prep the track so the scheduled play day has been moved to March 23. Don’t know at this time but other tracks in the region may also be affected.
• Up at Desert Park Raceway on Saturday, starting at 10 a.m. the Northern Nevada Kart Club will have a racing seminar. The aim is to go over all rules as well as on track behavior competitors are to follow when racing begins.
• Over the hill REP Racing hasn’t updated its hotline since last week. So the best advice if one wants to get in some motocross practice this week is to call the hotline at 1-775-265-7223 before heading over there.
