NEVADA PRO STOCK ASSOCIATION: READY FOR 2019
FERNLEY, NV (Jan. 26) – The Nevada Pro Stock Association held a general meeting at the Silverado Casino here. The subject was preparations for the upcoming season as well as the connection with the Tri-State Pro Stock Challenge. President Travis Petersen got the meeting started and soon mentioned the association has a new website. He added they’re working with the Tri-State Pro Stock Challenge so there will be more events for the drivers to compete in. VORRA IS REBORN AND WILL RACE AGAIN
RENO, NV (Jan. 19) – VORRA, Valley Off Road Racing Association, back in the day was a popular off road series. Spring and fall they would run short track races at Prairie City in California then move to Northern Nevada for three or four desert races each summer. A few years ago David Cole, who owns Hammer King, the group that owns and runs the Ultra 4 series, bought VORRA and made it part of the Norcal Rock Racing series, which stages events in California as well as one at the Wild West Motorsports Park. AWARDS BANQUET: MRANN HONORS ITS 2018 CHAMPIONS
SPARKS, NV (Jan. 5) – Saturday’s Awards Banquet was for the Motorcycle Racing Association of Northern Nevada, or MRANN as its known. IT was a time to honor class and overall champions.
