FERNLEY, NV (Jan. 26) – The Nevada Pro Stock Association held a general meeting at the Silverado Casino here. The subject was preparations for the upcoming season as well as the connection with the Tri-State Pro Stock Challenge. President Travis Petersen got the meeting started and soon mentioned the association has a new website. He added they’re working with the Tri-State Pro Stock Challenge so there will be more events for the drivers to compete in. RENO, NV (Jan 9) – Racing preview for this weekend finds us still stuck in the Rerun Zone but there are green flags ahead for the racing fan. Only a week or so to go. CAR MEETS: As usual Sparks Cars and Coffee are having the second-weekend-of-the-month meet on Sunday. Winter hours are from 10 a.m. until noon and the location is at the Sparks Dunkin’ Donuts, 425 Sparks Blvd., by the Target store. CAR MEETS: Locally, since it’s the first weekend of the month Reno Cadrs & Coffee will have a meet at the Kietzke Lane Starbucks from 10 a.m. until noon.
