DESERT RACERS OF MRANN RETURN TO LOVELOCK
LOVELOCK, NV (Sept. 23) – After 14 years the desert racers of MRANN returned to Lovelock thanks to the Mason Valley Dirt Squirts. The club staged the second round of the fall series, the Fix A Flat 100, just outside this rural Nevada town. The big bikes competed over a loop that was somewhere between 46 and 50 miles long. There were rocks, sand and after the long dry summer, dust but fortunately there was also a breeze blowing. ENDUROCROSS VISITS LIVESTOCK EVENTS CENTER IN RENO
RENO, NV (Sept. 22) – The 2018 Endurocross series visited here this weekend and brought its version of motorized mayhem to the Livestock Events Center. It was a wild night for riders and fans. STEAD, NV (Sept 16) – The Stihl National Championship Air Races completed a week’s worth of qualifying and competition under wonderful weather Sunday. And it was a history-making event for at least two classes of racing planes. International Formula One has a history that dates back to the golden days of Air Racing. These are usually home built aircraft for the sole purpose of racing. Due to their size they usually race in the morning around a 3.1875 mile course.
