Racing is beginning to heat up and locally we’re almost to our first event of the year. This week’s Racing Preview is a mixed bag that contains the first major race in the country, TV and Internet as well as a serious part. First and foremost a local veteran motocross rider and announcer Adam Portue` has been going through some grave medical challenges as he battles cancer. It’s the lull before the gathering storm as major series are getting ready to launch their series. Racing Preview for this week again is a bit slim as most things are TV but it’s the lull before the storm. This area’s 2016 season will start four weekends from now. Locally Livfast Exit 28 will again be open for practice sessions from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. This of course depends on the weather. First Look at the 2016 racing season has something for almost any race fan. The upcoming season is like looking at a puzzle where most of the pieces are already in place. Racing preview this week has two motocross events listed as well as where to find the updates on this year’s Dakar Rally. While there is less than a month from the start of racing in our area there are two motocross races in California that area riders will be traveling to. AIR RACE UPDATE WITH CEO
Air Race Update with the CEO shows the event is moving forward. On New Year’s Eve day several people gathered in the office of the Reno Air Race Association for some business.
