Racing preview this time is showing the sport is slowing down for the holiday.
While the fare might be a bit thin at the year’s end there are still programs a racing fan can find to keep him or her entertained. While many are on TV over at the Internet there are things to satisfy the fan.
If someone that rides motocross has gotten either a new bike, gear or just maybe wants to burn off some of that Christmas dinner, well Livfast Exit 28 is hosting practice sessions from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
It’s a great place to either hone a rider’s skills or just to stay sharp.
As usual during the off-season, MAVTV is carrying the load. While most are rebroadcasts of previous events there is quite a variety for the fan to watch.
On Thursday, beginning at 10 a.m. they’ll have AMRA Mud Races. At noon it’s the Dirty 30 with the best races of 2015 followed by Madera Late Models at 1 p.m. and at 2 p.m. Speed Sport has a show celebrating Oswego Speedway’s 65th anniversary show.
Friday, Christmas Day is pretty thin although Fox Sports 1 will have several NASCAR related shows beginning at 6 a.m.
Things go back to MAVTV on Saturday at 2 p.m. when the network broadcasts part two of the Lucas Oil Late Model 39th annual Winternationals. This is followed at 4 p.m. by a Lucas Oil ASCA event and at 6 p.m. Lucas Oil Drag Boats.
Then at 10 p.m. the network broadcasts the FIA World Rally event from Germany.
On Sunday, beginning at 2 p.m. the OLN network has a shot about the Nitro Circus, the same one that will make a stop in Reno this coming May.
And CBS Sports again has several racing programs beginning at 2 p.m. with the World of Outlaws followed at 5 p.m. by more Lucas Oil Offroad series then at 6 p.m. the Baja 1000 coverage will be broadcast. Then at 8 p.m. there will be snowmobile racing.
Over on the Internet, www.fanschoice.tv has a bunch of races that have been videoed and ready for viewing. Please check their site for further information.
Finally we here at nvracingnews want to wish all our readers a very Merry Christmas. Talk to you next week.
