Once again MAVTV does the lion’s share of bringing racing to the viewing public and this week they have something very special.
Things start Thursday noon with the Dirty 30 show about midget and sprint car racing from Perris Auto Speedway in Southern California. This is followed at 1:30 p.m. with the American Sprint Boat Series.
Then at 5:30 p.m. they continue with the IHRA Nitro Jam drag race series followed at 8 p.m. with Speed Sport News.
Not much on Friday but there are still many shows to choose from.
Saturday begins at 9 a.m. with a rebroadcast of a FIA World Rally Championship event, which has some insane driving. Then at 10 a.m. it’s Lucas Oil Drag Boats.
Finally at 5:30 p.m., for the first time the Chili Bowl Nationals will be broadcast live. Great midget indoor racing at this annual event that draws a huge amount of cars and stars from other series. Up to now it’s been on pay per view.
Around that same time on Fox Sports 1 the next round of this year’s Supercross series will be run at Anaheim. Will there be the first two-time winner this year or another new victor when the dust settles.
Once again you can see an animated tour of the course on, www.oneindustries.com. And if you want to watch the practice sessions that lead up to the evening show it’s available, first you go to www.Supercrossonline.com, then click the Supercross Live link as these sessions are streamed live on the internet.
Have a great weekend everyone and local racing is just about a month away when MRANN begins its desert series.
