RENO, NV (July 8) — Summer’s heat is finally here. The car meets and racing basket is full and there is a lot to see this weekend. CAR MEETS: • This Thursday there are three car events: • Friday has five events although one of them combines with the last one. + For the early birds, there is a pancake breakfast from 7 until 11 a.m. at the Carson Lodge. Location is 113 E. Washington Street. • Sunday has three events so things are a little lighter: RACING (4-WHEEL): • There are several events this weekend: RACING & PRACTICE (MOTOCROSS):

RENO, NV (July 1) — Here we are looking at the 4th of July weekend. There are car meets, motorcycle rides and racing galore, not to mention what is on TV. CAR MEETS: • Thursday gets rolling at Kim’s Donut & Tea House. Meet up starts around 8 a.m. and the location is 1328 U.S. Highway 395 North in Gardnerville. • There are two cruises on Thursday: • Friday is be busy with cars and bikes: • Saturday, the 4th of July, is a busy day as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our country • Sunday has five events:

RENO, NV (June 24) — Summer is officially here and racing is going full bore. There will be something for almost everybody this weekend. CAR MEETS: • Thursday. – Kim’s Donut and Tea House in Gardnerville, starting at 8 a.m., is where the weekend starts. Location is 1328 U.S. 395 North. – This Thursday is Lowrider Cruise Night at Tacos Tijuana. Times are 5 to 8 p.m. and the location is 2201 Prater Way in Sparks. – This week’s Thursday Night Cruise, from 5 until 7, meets at the Pizza Factory. Location is Highway 50 East in Carson City. –

RENO, NV (June 17) — Summer has arrived although officially it doesn’t start until Sunday. This weekend will be a warm one and is filled with car meets, cruises, rides and racing. CAR MEETS: •Thursday has two events plus a pair of cruises. • Friday has three events and maybe more. • There are five events on Saturday: • Sunday is another busy day with seven events to choose from.  • RACING (4-WHEEL): + Northern Nevada Racing Association has the Jumpin’ June Drags Saturday and Sunday. RENO, NV (June 10): Okay elections are over, weather is great and this weekend will be another busy one. Once again the car meet and racing buffet is overflowing. CAR MEETS: • Thursday is a busy day and starts around 8 a.m. when Kim’s Cruisers meet a Kim’s Donut & Tea House. Location is 1328 U.S.395 North in Gardnerville. • Friday from 6 until 9 p.m. Fernley’s Friday Night Cruise is back. Location is Main Street in Fernley. • Reno Bike Community will have its Friday evening cruise. Gathering place is the Maverik station at Sutro and North McCarren. People

RENO, NV (June 3) — Great weather this first weekend in June will set the stage for several cruises, car meets and racing. Getting the summer of with a bang. CAR MEETS & CRUISES: • Thursday has a pair of cruises. • Friday is busy this week. • Saturday is a very busy day and there is a lot to choose from. • Sunday is also busy this weekend.  RACING, SHOW & PRACTICE (MOTORCYCLES):  – E-Street MX Park is closed Saturday but on Sunday there is practice from 9 until 2 p.m. on the front and back tracks. RENO, NV (May 27) — Last weekend in May and racing as well as car meets and rides are heating up. The buffet table is overflowing. CAR MEETS: • There a pair events listed for Thursday. Be aware our crazy weather might affect these. • This week’s Thursday cruise in Carson City starts at the Antique Mall on North Carson Street. • Friday has a trio of meets on tap for cars as well as motorcycles. – The Old Slammers, a VW group meets at 6 p.m. in the Northtowne Parking lot. Around 7 the group leaves on a cruise.
