RENO, NV (Sept. 27) — The end of September kind of marks the end of summer time. It’s the time of Street Vibrations and a bunch of car meets. •• While much of Street Vibrations has moved to Virginia City, Reno Harley-Davidson was the hub of activity down here. And it all started Thursday evening. The streets in front and to the side of the dealership were full of bikes. Even the parking lot across the street was full. In front of the building were two long rows of vendors. At times there would be a band playing as well.

SUN VALLEY, NV (Sept. 27) – For the last several years the Impalas Car Club of Reno has teamed up with Forever 14. It’s not only a car meet but the proceeds raised help support suicide awareness.  This time the show had a greater impact on the club as they lost their newly elected president, Jordan Clark, in July when he took his life. RENO, NV (Sept. 21) — Great weather set the stage for two local car meets as well as another round of the Museum Cup.  • Reno Jeeps & Coffee had its second meet of the month by the Dutch Bros. Coffee stand at the corner of Longley Lane and North McCarran. There was a quartet while owners discussed any modifications they done their Jeeps. Still there are races as oval tracks end their seasons and many car meets not to mention what’s on TV. RENO, NV (Sept. 6) — Nice weather highlighted two car meets this Sunday.  Reno wasn’t the only place as there were meets in Carson City and Gardnerville as well. • Sunday morning is when Reno Cars & Coffee held its first meet of the month. Location is between the Human Bean Coffee stand and Cal Ranch on Kietzke. While it wasn’t a huge turn out there were many cars and trucks. Two bike riders even joined the show. RENO, NV (Aug. 24) — This past weekend was a car meet blizzard. While five are in this report there were several more outside of Reno. • Saturday began with the second Cars and Stripes show by the Sportsman’s Warehouse. Several groups including the Iron Mafia, Nevada Car Coalition and Honor Flight hosted the event to benefit local American Veterans. One of the tents was for Jim4 Heroes and Honor Flight. RENO, NV (AUG. 16) — Been a busy weekend. Saturday started with a fundraiser and finished with one car meet. Sunday was full with three meets so it kept everyone busy. •• Reno Harley Davidson was a busy place in the early Saturday afternoon. The dealership was the site for the Downrider Fundraiser put on by the Confederation of Clubs, which includes many motorcycle clubs.
