RENO, NV (March 15) — Great spring weather highlighted Reno Cars & Coffee’s second meet of the month.  There were many cars and trucks not to mention folks looking and admiring the vehicles on display. A bunch would get some coffee from the Human Bean Coffee3 Stand then wander over to check out what was on display. There was also a pretty good Corvette line. RENO, NV (March 8) — This weekend two large car events happened in Reno. Great weather set the stage for both events. • Need2Speed is going to start having a Karts & Kars meet on the first Saturday of the month. Not only was the parking lot full but the area in front of the business as well as the patio was used. One of the cars on the patio was this beautiful Lotus. RENO, NV (March 1) — As we say hello to a new month we also say good-bye to a local shop and hello to a pair of meets on Sunday. For the VW community Fibercraft has been one of the places to go for repairs, fabrication, supplies and off-road things. Saturday the shop closed with a Good-Bye BBQ. RENO,  NV (Feb.22)  – Today Sparks Cars & Coffee had its second meet of the month. In the afternoon Nevada Car Coalition had its second Calendar Planning Meeting. • The Sparks Cars & Coffee meet was by the Starbucks located on Disc Drive. While the turnout was on the light side there were still a wide variety of cars to see. One example of variety was where a Cadillac convertible was parked next to a Lamborghini. RENO, NV (Feb. 8) — Two big car meets highlighted the weekend. It was the first time for one while the other the other happens twice a month. • Saturday is when Need2Speed had the “Parking Lot Take Over,” at the Northtowne shopping  area that is located where 580 and North McCarran meet. In the west side of the parking lot there were many cars and even more were arriving after the meet began. As usual many ears and types of cars were displayed. RENO, NV (Feb. 4) — Well we’re in February and racing our region has started. There are also several car meets this weekend to see before the weather changes next week. CAR MEETS: • Once again Thursday starts around 8 a.m. when Kim’s Kruisers meet at Kim’s Donuts and Tea House. Location is 1328 U.S. 395 North in Gardnerville.  • This weekend Carson Cars and Coffee has a double header. Friday’s meet starts at 6:30 p.m., as does Saturday’s meet. RENO, NV (Feb. 1): Well here we are starting a new month and the day before Ground Hog Day. Wonder if he’ll see his shadow.  At home there were two meets, one for Jeeps and the other for cars. • Sunday started when Reno Jeeps and Coffee meet at the Human Bean Coffee stand located at the corner of Longley Lane and South McCarran.  Several Jeeps were on hand and more arrived later. SPARKS, NV (Jan. 25) — Despite the cold morning one of the largest turnouts happened today. Some was due to the recruiting effort by Ed Hughes who helped bring in a bunch of right hand drive cars. They formed two rows and Gie Rod contributed this picture of both rows. Have to give special thanks to him. One of the more interesting, and largest vehicle on display, was a former military truck that has been converted into a camper.
