Across the nation and overseas, racing has already started and more series are being added. CAR MEETS: • The Iron Mafia gets the weekend rolling as it usually does with their weekly meet. CAR MEETS: • Depending on the weather, the Iron Mafia might get the weekend rolling with their Thursday meet. The meet starts at 8 a.m. Location is at Kim’s Donuts and Tea Shop, location is 1328 U.S. 395 North in Gardnerville. • The only meet listed for Sunday was Reno Cars & Coffee. RENO, NV (Feb. 5) — Super Bowl Sunday is coming and that means more racing can be seen on TV and the Internet. Not much in the way of car meets this weekend but that will change. NOTE: Am running slightly behind this week. CAR MEETS: • Sparks Cars and Coffee meets at 10 a.m. Sunday. Location is the Starbucks located off Disk Drive. RACING (4-WHEEL): • Starting next month Top Gun Dragstrip is joining forces with two other tracks as part of the Pacific Triple Crown championship. RENO, NV (Jan. 29) — Well here we are, it’s Chinese New Year, and racing returns to our area for this weekend. Not to mention car meets and a special NASCAR race on TV. CAR MEETS: PLEASE NOTE THESE MEETS WILL DEPEND ON HOW MUCH WEATHER WE’LL BE GETTING. • Iron Mafia starts the weekend at 8 a.m. Thursday. RENO, NV (Jan. 15) — Let’s see car meets this weekend, motocross practice and an off-road series starting to our south. Not to mention highlights and two series going, one over seas and one in the U.S. CAR MEETS: • As usual the Iron Mafia gets the weekend rolling with its Thursday morning meet at Kim’s Donut and Tea House. Starts at 8 a.m. and the location is 1328 U.S. 395 North in Gardnerville. • There will be two car meets this Sunday and both have a 10 a.m. starting time. CAR MEETS: • The Iron Mafia has switched back to Thursday mornings for its weekly meet. Now they start at 7 a.m. and the location is Kim’s Donut and Tea House located at 1328 U.S. 395 North in Gardnerville. • Saturday, starting at 2 p.m., the Nevada Jeep Club hosts the 4th annual Wine, Women and Jeeps.
